My Atelier in Hong Kong (2007-2008)

I had an extra tiny room as my atelier while living in Hong Kong. Eventually, when we changed flat, I ended having to paint by the side of our main room. Not that I am complaining, Hong Kong is not so generous with space, living space is just a luxury out there! Luckily to my delight though, Hong Kong is a tremendous source of learning. Hong Kong Art School for one is an amazing learning institute. In addition, anyone interested in art can basically find any workshop to join in.

Photo taken with my art teacher, the well-respected artist and teacher Marco Szeto in his Sheung Wan studio.

Here, I am with my classmate Hong Kongese April. And, my favourite Hong Kong art teacher Mac Mak. He's top.

I will grab the chance of joining his class if ever I'll get the opportunity and time again! I learned much from his class...

Ah, starting to be a Hong Kong girl, with the typical V sign, with Mak below image.

The beginning of painting MC...

... in my tiny Hong Kong atelier.

Happily painting... I can stay long hours just in my atelier.

... knock, knock... anyone there?

And eventually, painting on the side of our flat's main room.
